Springtime in Boise!

My daughter says that seeing everything come to life is what makes it easier to survive the cold, snowy winter months.

No words are needed for this Salute to Spring, although I have to say that I’m envious of her soil. Enjoy and pretend this is the first time you’ve ever seen something like this in your life! Can you imagine how that would feel? A few pictures of her cats ended up being tucked in with the flowers.

  1. Love the brunnera. I planted a couple of them last year so we’ll see if they make it through. Still snow on the ground, so I won’t know for, say, a month or more. Ugh.

    1. I lived in Alaska for a few years, so I know that feeling of wondering if the snow will ever melt enough to bring flowers! Hang in there 🙂 Spring is around the corner!
      Aloha,

    1. I just got an email from my daughter and here is what she said about the flowers on my post about her garden.
      In order of appearance:
      peach tree
      flowering quince
      daffodils
      anemone
      hyacinth
      tulips
      brunnera
      hellebore

I didn’t know the last one, either.
