My first post was four years ago today. At that time, I gave a brief overview of what I intended this blog to portray. In the four years I’ve been writing, I have veered long distances away from the original intent, but it’s been fun!
This blog started out on Blogger as Lava to Lilikoi. When I finally got my own domain, I switched to “Lavalily” because I wasn’t sure everyone would know about lilikoi. If you are one of those curious people, check it out here. This is also the post that has received the most comments.
This is the 359th post for Lavalily. There were some months when I wrote every day, and some months I was lucky to get even one posted. Still, it is always on my mind, and I am always on the lookout for events, travels, foods, gardens and philosophy to share with you.
Over this summer between school semesters, I will do my best to post more often, and once again share my little acre and life in Hawai`i with everyone.
