Excellent! How much power are you getting from your panels? Do you have a grid-tied system, grid-tied w battery backup, or just all batteries. I’m definitely curious!
I’ll be tied to the grid as soon as HELCO comes by to inspect it and turn it on. Everything is installed, and according to them, I should save $80-100 per month on my current bill. Eventually, when I finish paying for it, I should be getting enough to cover it all. The sun is here, why not use it?

Well, I just got my first full month bill, and it’s actually cheaper than what I was paying on the mainland. (no heater usage)
So, now I know my actually usage I can really figure out the best system for me. I have talked to a couple other people, but I will make sure to go talk to the people at Pancho’s the next time up near Kona Naturals.
